Hair care

Shampoo your hair at least twice a month. Avoid using shampoos with sulfate, as it can cause stripping and will dry out your extensions. When shampooing be sure to condition your hair afterwards.

Always detangle hair prior to washing. Use a large tooth comb to detangle and start from the bottom up.

Co-washing (using conditioner only) is another effective way to clean and maintain your hair.

Always wash hair in warm water, for best results allow unit or extensions to air dry. If you don’t have time to air dry, use blow dryer on medium heat setting.

Only use a wig brush when brushing.

Can I use oil on my extensions / unit?

No do NOT use oil on your extensions /unit. It is recommended that you use oil free products to provide sheen to your hair. Oily products can cause hair to tangle when washing.

Before bed, section hair out,  roll/ braid hair, and  wear a satin cap. If you don’t have a satin cap be sure to sleep on a satin pillow case to prevent friction from drying out your hair.

Can I swim with this hair? Yes. Be sure to condition your hair before and after getting in the ocean or pool. This will protect your hair from chemicals that will damage and strip out the natural moisture of your hair.

Does this hair shed? Yes all hair extensions shed, however Stazel Galleria is committed to bringing you the highest quality hair, therefore you will experience very minimal shedding. To avoid excessive shedding, avoid brushing while wet.

Can I dye this hair? Yes. All of our extensions are 100%  raw hair and can be dyed. It is recommended to have your hair professionally dyed for maximized results.

What is the origin of Stazel’s hair? Our hair donors are from Indonesia. 

With proper maintenance your hair should last you 2 years or more.
